Futuro® Anti-Embolism stockings, 1 pair, provide the medically proven
benefits of graduated compression to offer effective support, as well as
soft, durable materials for outstanding comfort and fit. Our graduated
compression knitting technology is specifically designed to speed blood flow
by providing the most compression at the ankle and gradually diminishing
pressure up the calf. These stockings are latex-free and manufactured under
the most rigid quality control inspections to assure the precise pressure
necessary to discourage thrombus formations.

Fitting Futuro® Stockings:
- Measure circumference of upper thigh at the line of the bottom of the
buttocks. For thigh length stockings do not apply if over 25 inches
(63.5cm)
- Measure around the circumference of calf at the widest point to
determine "size".
- Measure distance from bottom of heel (in standing position, if
possible) to the line at the bottom of the buttocks to determine "length".
Futuro® Stocking Precautions: Proper sizing and application must be
assured.
Sizing Chart:
Medium Short - 25 - 29" Long x 12 - 15" calf circumference
Medium Regular - 29 - 33" Long x 12 - 15" calf circumference
Large Regular - 29 - 33" Long x 15 - 17 1/2" calf circumference
Caution: Do not under any circumstances turn down top of
stockings.
Stocking Contraindications: Anti-Embolism Stockings may
not be recommended for patients with the following. (Always
consult your physician):
- Any leg condition in which stockings would interfere, such as:
dermatitis (skin problems), vein ligation (recent leg surgery), gangrene
or recent skin graft
- Severe vascular diseases, such as arteriosclerosis (hardening of the
arteries) that cause poor circulation to the leg.
- Massive edema (swelling) of the legs, or pulmonary edema (fluid in the
lungs) from congestive heart failure.
- Extreme deformity of the leg.
Important: These stockings are only to be worn on the
advice of your doctor and for the time period recommended. If discomfort or
pain results, persists or increases, discontinue use and consult your
physician.
